20 years under Putin: a timeline

Just as the political upheaval in Russia is reaching a fever pitch, the Lantos Foundation has announced the release of a compelling documentary short about Russia's most famous political prisoner, Mikhail Khodorkovsky called The Man Who Believed He Could Change Russia.

The film presents a powerful narrative about Russia's retreat from democracy during Putin's reign. It features interviews with Katrina Lantos Swett, Pavel Khodorkovsky, Elie Wiesel, Lyudmila Alekseyeva, Karinna Moskalenko, Arseny Roginsky and Yulia Latynina.
